CONFESSION

"Come back to this source of grace; do not be afraid!  Christ Himself is waiting for you.  He will heal you, and you will be at peace with God."

St. John Paul II

This is a wonderful guide for confession from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington.

Our Lady of Medjugorje, Queen of Peace, requests monthly confession of us.  According to Our Lady:

"Confession is a sacrament and a source of peace with our self in our meeting with the Lord.  In Confession we obtain the peace of the Lord so that we may transmit it to others.  A proud person does not know how to confess; humility leads to confession and conversion.  To confess well we must prepare ourselves with fasting and prayer. "

Just as David gathered stones to slay the giant Goliath with, Our Lady asks us to put five stones in our pack in order to overcome the atheism that surrounds us, that paganistic mentality that is being disseminated  and seems invincible.  Confession is an important one of those stones.  The other four are prayer, fasting, the Eucharist, and the Bible.
